Kareem Hunt Went Unclaimed On Waivers He's Officially A Free Agent

On Saturday, former Ravens running back Ray Rice acknowledged the parallels between the domestic-violence incident that led to his release and the altercation that severed the Kansas City Chiefs' relationship with star Kareem Hunt.

This video is barely a month before the attack involving Hunt at a downtown Cleveland hotel.

There is also a third incident, from June, that the National Football League is investigating, in which the 23-year-old is accused of punching a man in the face at an OH resort.

The Chiefs issued a statement shortly after the National Football League had placed Hunt on its Commissioner Exemption List that said the running back lied when asked about the incident by team officials.

Hunt is now officially a free agent.

It looks like the Kansas City Chiefs roster isn't the only entity that disgraced running back Kareem Hunt has been removed from in the past week. He said he was treated at North Kansas City Hospital for a broken nose, a broken rib and contusions.

Atkinson and the man then exchanged punches and said men appeared from "all over" and "jumped him".

He says he was hit in the body and head multiple times and believes he was also knocked unconscious.

According the photographer, Shelley Lipton, the Steelers fan told the man and woman in front of him, Chargers fans, to sit down but they told him "it was their turn" to stand and cheer. He filed a police report, but cops reportedly said the victim eventually stopped cooperating. The man Hunt struck declined to press charges.

TMZ Sports obtained a police report filed by a man who claims he was attacked by Hunt and other members of the Chiefs organization in a Kansas City nightclub in January.

There is nothing stopping a CFL team from adding Hunt to its respective negotiation list, however, whether the league would register the contract of Hunt is a whole other topic.

Lions tight end Michael Roberts, who played with Hunt at Toledo, said he briefly spoke with Hunt since the video was released. Hunt was never arrested over the allegations.

The team said Hunt lied to them about his involvement in the incident.

That incident was February 10.

In the video, originally posted on TMZ, Hunt appears to come around a corner outside his rented room to confront Ottinger with a hard shove. It showed Hunt lunging toward a woman and several others in the hotel hallway, and the second-year pro being restrained several times before knocking two people down. At one point, Hunt sends one of his friends and the woman flying into a wall. Again, no charges were filed and no video tape has surfaced.
