Talking about the camera, there is a possibility that Samsung might add just one camera module on the Galaxy foldable phone. Now, a report from Korea's The Bell has revealed specifications of the foldable device.
Samsung has high hopes on it next big phone innovation- a foldable Galaxy smartphone. If this isn't a confirmation of a folding phone in the works, we don't know what is.
As we can see in the screenshot of the app below, it clearly says, "Explore the new Galaxy UX with Android 9.0 Pie (Beta Program), and see how a Foldable display creates a totally new experience". But the more important part here is that Samsung has given us further confirmation that it will show off how its foldable device will shape the company's future. It is also the first device to pack in the yet-to-be-launched Snapdragon 850.
Both, however, have been pipped to the post by Royole, a Chinese display making start-up, which last week unveiled a foldable phone with a 7.8 inch screen, priced from around US$1,300.
Another Samsung official with knowledge of the matter told Reuters it will be the first time that detailed images of the new phone will be presented in public. In fact for Samsung, the focus has been more on including features that would help user get the most of the foldable screen. Many are taking that as a not-so-subtle hint that the Korean tech giant is planning to unveil the long-awaited foldable phone at its annual developer conference, which takes place November 7-8 in San Francisco.
The 7.8-inch AMOLED screen supports split screens and multi-tasking - you can even drag and drop just like on your computer.
