"Noisy fireworks are always risky near livestock, so it is far better to enjoy an organised public display than to set them off at random times with unknown impacts on the animals in the dark". The celebration was rebranded as "fireworks night" or "bonfire night" in 1910 by firework manufacturers.
Admission is priced at £4 for adults, £3 for children and £10 for a family of four.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Saint Michael's Hospice. Gates open at 6pm and the firework display begins at 7pm.
There will also be a bouncy castle for the little ones. Entry is £2 payable at the gate with children free.
The event is organised to raise money for schools.
Without that support, organiser say this event wouldn't have been possible!
Food and drink will be available on the night. Gates open at 7pm and the firework display starts from 8pm. Food and drink is available.
Admission is free though there will be a voluntary collection to fund future displays. The main event will start at 7.30pm; the timing is weather dependent for the safety of all spectators. For more information email email@example.com.
