TMZ reports that Miller had not taken a lethal amount of each individual drug, but that the combination is what caused his death.

USA rapper Mac Miller died as a result of an accidental overdose involving cocaine, fentanyl and alcohol, a coroner has concluded. Alcohol and drug paraphernalia were found; however, TMZ reported the house was mostly "swept clean" before investigators arrived. The rapper's death on September 7 was determined to have been an accidental overdose.

He was found by his assistant in a "praying position", kneeling forward with his face on his knees. The assistant described him as already being "blue" during the 911 call.

Miller had an abrasion on the bridge of his nose, and blood was coming out of one nostril, the report said.

He was found at his home in San Fernando Valley earlier this year, and was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Each drug on its own wasn't enough to kill him, but it was the mixture that did it.

Meanwhile, an empty bottle of alcohol was near his body on a nightstand, with a bottle of prescription pills in the bathroom. A rolled $20 bill with "powdery residue" was found in the artist's right pocket.

Ariana Grande, who famously dated the late rapper, shared a black-and-white photo of him on her Instagram page in tribute, and a video.
