Red Dead Redemption 2 is the UK’s second-biggest physical launch of 2018
It's been eight years since Red Dead Redemption 1 launched - and in that time Rockstar's Western series has become a household name.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2010's game-changing Red Dead Redemption.
Red Dead Redemption 2 released last week to much critical acclaim, but the consumers have finally spoken.
While it has yet to beat the yearly colossal success of EA's Federation Internationale de Football Association series, Red Dead Redemption 2 has already become the second-biggest launch of 2018. In the United Kingdom it was revealed earlier in the week that it was in fact only the second biggest retail launch of the year, behind Federation Internationale de Football Association 19. As the holiday season rolls around the game will continue to sell copies, and when "Red Dead Online" launches soon players can spend money on in-game purchases to buy better gear and upgrades.
In fact, we know that the game had a successful debut in the United Kingdom, a region where it doubled the initial sales of the first installment. I'm holding to that prediction, although I do expect it to be a pretty tight race between it and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
This video depicts the blur effect, showing the game to be somewhat out of focus. Piscatella does not buy into that view. Generally speaking, an SDR image doesn't offer almost as much contrast, color range or luminance as an HDR image, and Eurogamer claims that all of the limitations present in SDR are simply packaged in what the game is presenting as HDR. This may not seem like too much to begin with; however, apparently Worcester is a city that lies just outside of Boston in the US.
