Loot Goblin amiibo officially unveiled

Blizzard's Loot Goblin amiibo Will Hoard Treasure For You This December

Blizzard Entertainment has announced its second mobile game, Diablo: Immortal, for Android and iOS.

Described as a "full-fledged action RPG you can play everywhere with everyone", It's now being developed in collaboration with NetEase.

A demo of the game is available at BlizzCon but if you're interested in playing Diablo Immortal, you'll have to wait.

Blizzard is the home to some of the biggest game franchises of all time: Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, and more recently Overwatch.

The announcement is Diablo: Immortal which isn't a sequel to Diablo 3 but instead takes place during the events of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and the beginning of Diablo 3. The Archangel Tyrael is believed to be dead, while the Worldstone has been shattered into various fragments.

Dataminers have found evidence of three different Diablo III amiibo that will be compatible with the game on Switch.

Now, we're sure that Diablo IV is coming at some point. The partnership with NetEase is another indication that Diablo Immortal may not have been targeted at NA/EU.

It includes online multiplayer where players can choose to play as any of the game's six classes and traverse brand new dungeons and zones. "With their incredible passion for Diablo and proven mobile expertise, the development team has spawned an ultra-responsive and breathtakingly lovely mobile game, and we can't wait for players to get their hands on it". Will you be adding it to your collection?
