World of Warcraft: Classic Demo Limits Play to 60 Minutes

Okay maybe not THAT retro. That's a shot of the pre-alpha version

As for mobile gameplay, Blizzard says it developed the touchscreen experience to "feel completely natural", including directional controls, simple skill activation, and a native Battle.net UI.

Announcements of a brand-new, smartphone-only Diablo and a remastered WarCraft 3 headlined a news-filled BlizzCon keynote presentation on Friday. Aside from providing cinematic trailers which detailed the story once more, the gameplay footage which showcases high-definition visuals and other enhancements blew gamers away. Fans expected a host of Diablo announcements and instead were met with the reveal of a mobile game.

This wasn't announced on stage, but it should've been. It will be called Warcraft III: Reforged, and will be out next year. Players will be able to team up with others in open area locales, but the game will also feature more than a few instanced dungeons. Are you excited about this Warcraft III remaster? Those with Virtual BlizzCon tickets can try out an exclusive demo available now. The much awaited recreation of the massively multiplayer online role-playing gaming (MMORPG) is out in Summer 2019. It'll include a new raid set in Zandalar that has unique permutations for Horde and Alliance players, which is a first. You can even join them to take on risky dungeons.

It's Jeff from the Overwatch team! Let's back up a bit.

It's a hard pill for many to swallow as Diablo 3 released in 2012 so fans were expecting the logical next step forward for the franchise to be Diablo 4. The Reunion film also teased what could be a new hero for later down the line: Echo, a hovering robot with a holographic face who McCree awakens from a cybernetic slumber. Blizzard has not yet announced a release date for the title.

Warcraft III's dedicated community of mapmakers has kept the game thriving since it launched in 2002, and Reforged boasts an improved World Editor highly influenced by an ongoing dialogue with this talented group of creators.

Ah, Warcraft 3, what a game!
