Leak Confirms New Cheap MacBook, Mac Mini, and iMacs for October 30

Apple's desktop computers have always been a reliable seller, and in recent years the company has made efforts to improve their performance for professional photographers, designers, and other high-end users.

It's unclear if Face ID will only work in portrait or landscape mode, or if Apple has figured out a way for it to identify faces in either orientation.

These new iPad Pros will include a version of the A12 Bionic CPU found within iPhone XS and iPhone XR. This will leave the iPhone as Apple's only major product to use the Lightning connector. If you're going to spend some of your hard-earned cash on a new iPad Pro, which start from £619 in the Apple Store, you don't want your new toy to be outdated within days, right? The latter is expected to be unwrapped on Tuesday.

Thanks to leaks and various analysts reports, we already know what to expect from Apple's "There's More in the Making" event later this month Below is a quick roundup of what Apple is expected to unveil at the event. The iPad's external look will be redesigned as well. A MacBook Air with a Retina display has been in the cards for a long, long time and current rumors have there potentially being a new MacBook that will replace the Air on the bottom rung of Apple's notebook pricing ladder.

Apple's not so unexpected event on October 30th has sent some Android OEM scrambling to adjust their dates or even cancel. Or are you more interested in the new low-priced MacBook? If it happens, it'll be nice to see this increasingly industry-standard connection on another Apple product, given that the iPhones are still sticking with Lightning connectors. The 13-inch screen size suggests a new version of the MacBook Air, which got a modest spec boost past year, to the then already-dated 5th Generation "Broadwell" family of mobile CPUs.

Last updated back in 2014, the Mac Mini technically isn't completely dead yet, but it sure seems like Apple is keeping it on minimal life support to appease home theatre enthusiasts and app developers who don't need a powerhouse machine. It will also be the first time Apple has changed the charging port on iOS devices since 2012.

So the AirPower mat might not arrive this year-or ever-but when the product was first teased, Apple demonstrated it with an upgraded version of the AirPods case that could be charged wirelessly.

Integrated "Hey Siri" functionality is also rumoured to be coming to the AirPods 2. To tide you over, here's a rundown of everything we expect to see, and what will probably be a no-show.

Apple was widely expected to finally put the AirPower on sale after its September iPhone event.

Unlike similar multi-device charging pads, the AirPower is capable of charging Apple's AirPods, Qi-compatible iPhones and the Apple Watch, from any location on the mat.

Rumours indicate that the AirPower will reportedly either launch before the end of 2018 or in the first quarter of 2019.
