Pet Sematary Trailer: What’s Dead Should Stay Dead

Pet Sematary Remake Trailer Resurrects Stephen King's Classic Tale

In the trailer, Lithgow's voice is heard saying, "It was a myth. Kids used to dare each other to go into the woods at night". We also see shots a scalpel, an eerie spiral carved into a tree, and blood smeared across a auto window and a door while Jud adds, "There is something up in those woods, something that brings things back".

This new one, which is slated to be April 5, 2019, is directed by Kevin Kölsch ("Holidays") and Dennis Widmyer ("Scream" TV series). Stephen King's previous novel adaptation, IT, was a massive success when it released a year ago. This isn't any ordinary cemetery, though, and as tragedy sets into the family's lives, patriarch Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) will find that sometimes the dead should stay dead, no matter how hard it is to say goodbye. Check out the eerie new trailer and let us know if you're looking forward to it.

Pet Sematary - the Stephen King novel that will make you paranoid every time Tiddles looks at you amusing - is the latest of the horror master's stories to get a modern movie adaptation. But this is a Stephen King story, and the whole thing just descends into something more twisted than you could imagine.

Here's the first trailer, and it looks like a good'un. And what Stephen King basic cable mainstays traumatized you as a child? share your thoughts in the comments! Instead, it'll hone in on what makes the story so horrifying.

Pet Sematary centers around a family that moves into a quaint farmhouse near a remote patch of woods.

The film is now scheduled to be released on 5th April, 2019.
