A new gaming phone dubbed the Huawei Mate 20X is expected to be launched alongside the other two phones.

Huawei are no longer also rans in the smartphone world. New images revealing the front and back of the upcoming flagship device have surfaced on social media platform Weibo. The Mate 20 Pro sports a traditional-looking notch design to house a 3D camera for face unlock, just like on the Apple iPhone XS and OPPO Find X.

You might have already known this, but what recently caught my attention was the local availability of Huawei Honor phones. The launch event will be held in London, while the Kirin 980 was unveiled in Berlin at the IFA consumer electronics show earlier this year. Being a gaming-centric handset, the Mate 20X will come with a cooling system as teased by the company. The HUAWEI P20 Pro also features a color temperature sensor with f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 wide aperture to capture clearer, and more vibrant photos in low light. However, if the latest leaks turn out to be accurate, the Huawei Mate 20 will beat the Xiaomi Mi 8 (almost) without breaking a sweat. Inside, it should be powered with the Kirin 980 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and Huawei's own GPU Turbo technology. The rear of the devices show the triple camera setup on the rear of the device and the lack of a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

We'll be able to piece together the final details soon enough once the Huawei Mate 20 series becomes official next week.

Apart from the Huawei Mate 20X, the company will also launch its Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones on October 16.

As seen from the renders, the Mate 20 will come with LEICA optics.

But somehow Huawei will be the only one which will beat its own most selling and best phone by introducing the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
