Mike The Situation Sorrentino Sentenced for Tax Evasion

His brother, Marc Sorrentino, fared even worse, as he'll spend two years in prison and pay a fine of $75,000.

Sorrentino's brother, Marc, also has pleaded guilty and faces sentencing Friday.

- The Situation has been sentenced to eight months in prison for tax fraud.

The "Jersey Shore" star pleaded guilty earlier this year to tax evasion.

Going by the nickname "The Situation", Sorrentino was an arrogant charmer who liked to show off his chiseled torso.

His brother, Marc, wasn't so lucky. Sorrentino has also been fined $10,000 and will be required to complete 500 hours of community service.

Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Deena Cortese all dressed in black to accompany the 36-year-old to court.

According to a tweet from a journalist who was on site, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cameras were around to capture the cast wandering around the city as Sorrentino entered the court.

The siblings were initially indicted in September 2014 for tax offenses and conspiring to defraud the United States after allegedly failing to properly pay taxes on $8.9 million in income from 2010 to 2012. "He is looking forward to marrying his college sweetheart, Lauren Pesce, next month, and moving forward together after he serves his sentence".

Mike's Jersey Shore co-stars were all in attendance at the courthouse.
