Insane Ibra!- Zlatan hits ridiculous 500th career goal for Galaxy

Zlatan Ibrahimovic simply doesn't score ordinary goals, but even by his standards, his 500th career goal was special.

The Swedish star whipped in the goal with a roundhouse kick on a volley off of a looping pass from Jonathan dos Santos in the 43rd minute to reach the milestone.

"I don't know how many have scored 500 goals in their career, but I am one of them and it would feel nicer if we win the game but still, I did it so there is nothing I will hide from".

Juventus and Portugal's Ronaldo leads the way from Barcelona and Argentina's Messi, with both players having scored more than 600 senior club and global goals.

At global level for Sweden, he made 114 senior appearance and scored 62 goals. Ibrahimovic's goal, which came minutes before half-time, sparked what had seemed to be a Galaxy comeback, with goals from Ola Kamara and Rolf Fletscher drawing them level in the second half.

Speaking after the clash, he said: "I was close to the goal".

His tally of club goals now stands at 438 including strikes for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, PSG, AC Milan and Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic left Manchester United to join the Galaxy at the start of this season. "I was just trying to hit the goal and it went in".

"Obviously it's not good to lose. but I'm happy for Toronto because they'll be remembered as my 500th victim", Ibrahimovic told TSN after the game.
