Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly

The back-and-forth emanating Eminem's "Kamikaze" album stepped up a notch Friday afternoon when the rapper fired back at Machine Gun Kelly with a new diss track called "Killshot".

"I think that the word that I called him on the album on that song was one of the things where I felt like, this might be too far", Em continued. "In my quest to hurt him, I realized that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it", he said. "I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do at this point right now".

Eminem dropped his official Machine Gun Kelly diss track titled "Killshot".

Two weeks on from the album's release, Eminem sat down for an interview with Sway Calloway, in which they discussed the slur.

Sway went on to ask about MGK and their "discrepancy" to which Em responded: "Just for the record the thing that was going on that he was saying about my daughter, I didn't even know about that until literally like a year and a half later".

"So when Tyler tweeted out the thing about "Walk on Water" - "This f-king song is horrible" - I was like, alright, I need to say something now 'cause this is f-king stupid".

"That's not why I dissed him, the reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty that that". Six years ago might seem a long time, but some things aren't forgiven or forgotten very easily - and apparently not if you're Eminem.

"First what he said "I'm the greatest rapper alive since my favourite rapper banned me from Shade 45" or whatever he said, right?" "Had enough of this tatted up mumble rapper / How the fuck can him and I battle?" I'm not going to be America's punching bag, and have motherfuckers think it's cool to say whatever the fuck they want about me. You know how many f***in' rappers that are better than you?
