New iPhones to reach Qatar by Sept 28

13 September 2018, 08:13 | Jodi Jackson

This is Tim Cook’s Apple. The company is now sprawling and for all its polish complicated

Assuming you get one of the models, you'll also be able to pick up a matching pair of Beats starting this fall season. The range now starts with the iPhone 7 and is followed by the iPhone 8 and the new iPhone XS as well as iPhone XR models.

On the iPhone X and iPhone 8, users were first required to open a relevant app to allow their iPhone to scan for NFC tags.

This is the new iPhone for "regular folks" who don't see their iPhone as a status symbol or sweat details like a stainless steel body or 512GB of storage for photos and videos.

The iPhone XR is a device that sits in the middle of the two in terms of screen size and well, colorful new options! It has an LCD screen instead of OLED and has a single camera instead of a dual camera. But there might be a way next week for you to save a few bucks. The iPhone X was nowhere to be seen, along with the iPhone 6S and the smaller iPhone SE.

Aluminum vs. steel: Stainless steel sides hug the pricier iPhones, but the iPhone XR is made with an aluminum frame, like many other phones on the market. While the iPhone XS, priced at Rs 99K, and the iPhone XS Max costing Rs 109,900, respectively, will be available in India before the Navratras begin, the wait for the iPhone XR will be slightly longer. The price for the iPhone XS starts at $999 for the 64 GB model and goes up from there for 256 GB and 512 GB.

This year's three top phones are all more expensive than last year's models.

Colorful identity: If you want your iPhone XS to be any color than gold, silver or black-grey, you'll have to buy a case.

A total of three new bright colors will be available for the urBeats3 earbuds with Lightning: coral, yellow, and blue.

Price (duh): The iPhone XR isn't cheap, but it's not a $1,000 phone, either.
