New York Democratic primary candidate for governor Cynthia Nixon makes a concession speech at a Brooklyn
Nixon has hammered Cuomo for failing to address New York City's beleaguered subways and for not following through on pledges to address corruption.
The stakes are high for Mr. Cuomo even if he wins, according to Jeanne Zaino, professor of political science at Iona College in NY.
Nixon says both groups were overlooked on 9/11.
It also states that Nixon is "against funding for yeshivas", supports "BDS, the racist, xenophobic campaign to boycott Israel" and has been "silent on the rise of anti-Semitism".
The strength of public polling, the appeal of celebrity and the power of incumbency will be on the line Thursday in NY where Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo faces off against a Hollywood actress who has hammered away at the two-term Democratic governor's liberal credentials.
In a contentious debate last month, Cuomo told Nixon to stop interrupting him, to which she responded: "Can you stop lying?" The email also includes mentions of the governor's accomplishments on Jewish causes, which were also detailed on the flier.
"I am the mother of Jewish children", Nixon, who is raising her children Jewish, said in a statement late on Sunday.
A Siena College poll released Monday shows Cuomo with a 41 percentage point lead over Nixon heading into Thursday's primary.
Veteran political operative Bob Shrum remembers a time when the polls showed an incumbent well ahead before a NY primary, but the challenger's more enthusiastic support swayed the outcome.
If voters think that Cuomo is going to win by a landslide, many of them might stay home, while inspiring a higher turnout among Nixon supporters rallied by a last-ditch effort to salvage her candidacy. The younger Cuomo, a former Clinton administration official, controls the party's state machinery and secured endorsements from members of the party establishment. I haven't seen the mailer", Cuomo said at an unrelated event in Manhattan."The way I've ran this campaign, it's been on the issues, it's been positive. "She was a fine actor, but not a great gubernatorial candidate", he said. Dealing with state corruption was the only issue that likely Democratic primary voters saw Nixon doing a better job on than Cuomo in the September 10 Siena poll, 42-39 percent. But sources said it was drafted and approved by his closest advisers, including former top aide Larry Schwartz. He's spent millions on ads and tried to make the race about Republican President Donald Trump, arguing that he's the best qualified to govern and push back against the White House.
Apple reveals larger Apple Watch Series 4

Trump orders use of sanctions to punish election interference
The move follows repeated criticism for the White House response to Russian-backed interference in the 2016 presidential election. National security adviser John Bolton said a new White House order on election security isn't aimed at any particular country.
