Treyarch has released the first official gameplay trailer for "Blackout" Battle Royale in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Seeing the map pieces in action is even more exciting than when Activision and Treyarch first made the announcement, and the trailer has many other details that are equally exciting to see on the screen. However, he notes that Blackout's final player count is still subject to change; Treyarch may tweak the number before the game's release based on player feedback. Here's another look at the mode's full map.

Today's Blackout trailer comes as part of a marketing lead-up to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's next major beta event.

Featuring the largest multiplayer map in Call of Duty's history (with sections based on locales from previous Black Ops entries), the Blackout mode will see up to 80 players fighting simultaneously to become the last person standing. The beta will then open up for Xbox One players and PC beta early access members on September 14th, with all of the beta tests set to end on September 17th at 10 AM PT.

As we previously reported, Blackout mode will support 80 players, launch with four vehicles which let you take to the land, air, and sea, and include unsafe hotspots where you can gun down zombies.
