McDonald's

After that period, one victor will be chosen at random to receive this McGold Card which will be presented in the form of "up to two meals per week for 50 years, awarded as a $1,000 credit on winner's McDonald's App and $35,400 cash, plus $15,600 to offset taxes on the prize, awarded as a check for $51,000". According to the contest website, users place their order on the McDonald's app, pay using any major credit card, and once the meal has been picked up at McDonald's, customers are automatically entered into the drawing.

The campaign starts on August 10 and runs through August 24.

While this may seem like an incredible deal, the entire "lifetime supply" of food is valued at $52,350.00, and the real kicker is that it is all going towards McDonald's fast food.

How do you want to spend the next 50 years of your life? I mean, free food is good food, but a "lifetime" of Big Macs might not be the most appealing prize in some people's eyes. Customers are restricted to one entry per day. But this contest brings forth the opportunity of the rest of us non-multi billionaires to own one. And Warren Buffett told CNBC he had a McDonald's card that allowed him to order unlimited food for free in Omaha. The prize is actually awarded as a $1,000 credit on the winner's McDonald's app and $35,400 cash, plus $15,600 to offset taxes on the prize, awarded as a check for $51,000.

To qualify, you have to download the mobile app and place an order.

In addition to the free food and bragging rights, the victor also gets a custom gold-plated phone case. The giveaway is exclusive to customers who use the app's "Mobile Order & Pay" feature. Ten will win free drinks for five years, and Starbucks will award free drinks over shorter time frames along with smaller prizes such as coupons.

For more information on the sweepstakes and how to enter, go to McDonalds.com/MobileMcGoldCard or download the McDonald's App. You have between August 10 and August 14 to get those entries in.
