Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have sent a cable of congratulations to Pakistan's incoming Prime Minister Imran Khan following his parliamentary election win. In an interview to news agency ANI, Modi said he called Prime Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief to congratulate on his victory and he hoped that Pakistan would work for a safe, secure, stable and prosperous region.
The PTI leader said he would also meet PPP leader Syed Khurhseed Shah this evening to invite him to the oath-taking ceremony.
"The Secretariat of the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has invited me to attend the swearing in ceremony of Imran Khan as the Prime Minister of Pakistan on August 18 at Islamabad", Sidhu said.
