Omarosa Claims Trump Repeatedly Used 'N-Word' During 'The Apprentice'
According to the Guardian website, which says it obtained a copy of Manigault Newman's memoir prior to its August 14 publication date, the former Apprentice contestant and later White House communications staffer writes in Unhinged that while she did not personally hear Trump use the N-word she cites three sources who described the contents of the tape. In her book, to be released on Tuesday, Newman does not specify whether she heard Trump use the slur or whether she saw footage of him using it. "A$3 nd even worse that the media would not give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the President during her time in the administration".
Manigault Newman, a former Apprentice star, was once one of Trump's most high-profile supporters during his campaign.
"They all told me that President Trump hadn't just dropped a single N-word bomb", Omarosa writes.
Manigault Newman's tenure in the White House was marred by drama and intrigue; she generated a series of negative headlines for the administration, including when she attempted to host a photo shoot for her wedding on White House grounds. She also calls her former boss a "racist, misogynist and bigot", and says one of the reasons she was sacked was because it was known she was trying to acquire the Apprentice tape. "F**ing FLIP! Disloyal! Fucking Goo-goo".
The contradiction is important because in Manigault's version of the events she was hot on the trail of Trump's n-word tape when she was called in to speak with Chief of Staff John Kelly who told her there were "significant integrity issues" and "pretty significant legal issues that we hope won't make it ugly for you".
