‘Fahrenheit 11/9’ Trailer: Michael Moore Doc Targets Mid-Term Elections

Fahrenheit 11/9: first trailer for Michael Moore's Trump documentary

Michael Moore is back with a trailer for Fahrenheit 11/9, in which the filmmaker presents "the last president of the United States". It's in theaters September 21.

Given how so much of Donald Trump's presidency is being played out on screens and online, it seems nearly pointless at this stage to have a documentary on him when the story hasn't even finished playing itself out yet. Rick Snyder might also make an appearance since Moore previewed a clip of himself spraying lead-contaminated water from Flint, Michigan on the governor's front lawn.

"American journalism schools have not trained students how to cover an authoritarian leader", Moore told HuffPost.

Michael Moore is prepping a documentary, Fahrenheit 11/9, about President Trump and says the leader of the free world should be anxious. "He has no intention of leaving the White House", Moore said.

Additionally, the film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival first next month, before the wider release date of September 21.

"Our media has no idea what it is up against, he said". This puts us all in grave danger.

"If nothing else, I hope this film exposes that grave danger and shows people the way out", he added.

Documentary fans have known that Michael Moore's documentaries are not to be missed, ever since the days of the Oscar-winning Bowling For Columbine. Hope leads people to believe that tax returns, or a pee tape, or the Federal Bureau of Investigation or an adult film star will save the country. We don't need hope. "Hope, and the passivity that comes with it, is what helped get us here to begin with".

The trailer for "Fahrenheit 11/9" is fairly unfocused, but it seems to be pulling the usual leftist talking points: Trump is a dictator, his supporters are racist, America is not the greatest country in the world, pigs will soon fly, blah, blah, blah.
