It was close to two years ago when Rockstar Games started teasing the world with Red Dead Redemption 2. Red Dead Redemption 2 seems like it is going to be blowing expectations out of the water, and our expectations are already extremely high.

Though previously Rockstar Games has shown off cinematic trailers, this is the first time any gameplay has been shared.

Although it is interesting to note this is a "gameplay video" and not "trailer".

The world is much more open and much more interactive this time around. These kinds of actions include paying someone compliment as you pass them or starting a fight in a bar. When forced to leave an area, the gang sets up a camp.

So far, Rockstar has managed to keep an extremely tight lid on the assets for Red Dead Redemption 2, with practically all of the materials that have been shared with the public having come straight from the developer. You've got your sprawling map (which, as expected, looks like it recreates quite a few locations from the previous game in this franchise), you've got your sassy cowboys getting into barfights, your roaming gangs of outlaws looking for their next big score.

Speaking of animals, your relationship with your horse is also important in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Shooting and fighting have apparently been improved in Red Dead Redemption 2 as well, but exact details have not been announced.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will release for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th, 2018.
