Blizzard has multiple Diablo projects in the pipeline

Diablo 3 Nintendo Switch multiple Diablo Games

According to Camel, "multiple Diablo projects" are in the works, and the team "may" have some things to show regarding the projects this year.

Aside from themed seasons like "Greed", Associate Community Manager Brandy Camel revealed that there are "multiple" Diablo projects in the works. "Some will take longer than others", Camel explains, and news will apparently be shared later this year; a clear setup for a BlizzCon reveal in November.

We certainly hope that one of the unannounced projects is a remaster/remake of Diablo 2.

Diablo fans are among the longest suffering subgroups of Blizzard aficionados, but the end is in sight - the studio says we're going to see more Diablo "later this year".

What could these projects be? A Diablo III port would ensure two modes of play: on-the-go singleplayer or local multiplayer, and online multiplayer that could generate engagement while promoting other Blizzard games to boot. Blizzard has said it's making mobile game versions of its popular IPs, and Activision reiterated this emphasis on mobile gaming in the company's Q2 CY18 earnings call. Is it time for Diablo IV?

Diablo III first launched back in 2012 for the PC, before it headed over to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

Check it out and leave us YOUR thoughts in the comments.
