Another Google Pixel 3 leak suggests the phone will launch with super-powered specs

But it appears fans looking to upgrade to the new Google flagship may not have to wait long at all.

According to YouTuber Brandon Lee on his This is Tech Today channel, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will drop in on October 4, 2018. However given the past two Pixel launches were for the 4th of October, it stands to believe that Google might want to keep to those dates. Google is apparently looking for content marketers to promote the phone in Canada after it launches. In the ad description, there is a call for Canadian creators to share their story of switching over to Pixel 3.

After months of seeing shot after shot of barely-camouflaged prototypes, just about the only thing that hasn't leaked out about the Pixel 3 has been the launch date for Google's next phone.

Although the advert claims the phone is launching on October 4, it's not clear if this is simply the announcement of its existence or the actual on-sale date. It happened in 2016; it happened in 2017; it will most likely happen in 2018 as well.

He said: "Besides the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, and second-gen Pixel Buds, a reliable source tells me - with high confidence - that Google's fall hardware event will also introduce a Pixel-branded watch".

First a radical new updated design leaked that showed that Google had gone back to the drawing board with its well-reviewed but disappointingly sold Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones, and returned with a device that - especially in its larger incarnation - looked a lot like the iPhone X.

The Pixel 3 will undoubtedly launch with Android P (the next version of the operating system) installed as standard and will also get all those important security updates in a timely fashion.
