Chelsea transfer news Barcelona want Eden Hazard as Roman Abramovich considers selling

The Belgium worldwide had an excellent World Cup campaign after a disappointing domestic season at Stamford Bridge.

The reports claim that Madrid have narrowed their search and have fixated on Eden Hazard as their #1 transfer target following Ronaldo's departure to Juventus.

However, fans of the 13 times European Champions do have an overwhelming favourite as to who they would like to see replace Ronaldo in the Spanish capital and that is France and PSG wonderkid Kylian Mbappe.

In terms of skill, Hazard is easily one of the best players in the world at the moment and would represent a typical Galactico signing, should Madrid successfully lure him out of England and the Premier League.

Given that Chelsea are not in the Champions League and have been unable to get Hazard to extend his contract, his exit seems inevitable this summer.

Catalan giants, Barcelona are preparing a move for Eden Hazard with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich open to selling the Belgian. Hazard told beIN SPORTS.

The Chelsea forward is hot property this summer after a fantastic World Cup campaign and just two years left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard is said to be interested in working with the Blaugrana and the club's coaching staff are already excited by the prospect.

However, there is the lingering feeling that he is destined for the Bernabeu, particularly after his most recent comments about Real Madrid.

"The white shirt is special but the blue shirt suits me well, so everything is fine here".

"Zidane is someone special, it's true, but I think Real is everyone's dream."
