Conte is reported to have parted ways with Chelsea, with former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri expected to be handed the reins at the club.
Premier League giants, Chelsea have officially announced the sacking of their Italian manager, Antonio Conte on their social media handle.
Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season in England in 2016-17 and followed up that achievement with the FA Cup triumph this year, but his relationship with the board became damaged beyond fix, highlighted by his repeated public and private complaints about transfer policy.
Conte however won the FA Cup in his final match in charge.
His intense training methods angered senior players and he alienated the board with disparaging treatment of Spanish striker Diego Costa and constant carping over the club's failure to replace top players with those of similar ability. "I wish you every success in the future".
Sarri finished runners-up in Serie A last season with Napoli, pushing perennial Italian champions Juventus to the wire in the chase for the scudetto, but the club would ultimately fall short - during his three years at the Stadio San Paolo he failed to win any silverware.
Former Spain manager Julen Lopetegui was appointed instead. "Jorginho would go to Chelsea regardless of Sarri".

She went on to critique the fit - particularly cutting words, coming from a couture designer - suggesting her dress was too loose. However, Prince Harry pretended to be angry about the cheeky hair-tugging and feigned scolding him with a finger wag.
