Trump Bragged About Kim Summit to NATO Leaders

President Trump told reporters while leaving the White House this morning to fly to Brussels for the NATO summit that he does have a special gift for North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, but it hasn't been gifted yet.
Foreign ministry spokesman Noh Kyu-duk said, "The government hopes the agreements reached between leaders at the North Korea-U.S. summit, including the repatriation of Korean War remains, will be swiftly carried out as a means to fulfill the goal of complete denuclearization and establishment of a peace system on the Korean Peninsula".
Pompeo insisted the talks were making progress but as soon as he left, the North's foreign ministry berated him over his "unilateral and gangster-like" demands and for offering no constructive steps on the U.S. side.
The remains of almost 8,000 US troops remain unaccounted for on the Korean peninsula, and 5,300 of those bodies are believed to be located somewhere north of the demilitarized zone. "But, it seems that the USA misunderstood our goodwill and patience".
U.S. negotiators arrived Thursday at the militarized border between the two Koreas as previously announced by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and were kept waiting, the Yonhap News Agency reported, citing diplomatic officials it didn't identify.
Byrd, a forensic anthropologist, was part of a 15-strong DPAA team in North Korea 20 years ago. Since Kim took power in 2011, the isolated country has tested more than 85 missiles and four nuclear weapons. Sending the bodies back would demonstrate that North Korea can be trusted to some degree, and cost Pyongyang nothing in terms of military posture. Kim Jong-un vowed to push forward with the "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" in a statement signed alongside President Trump, but never clarified what that statement meant.

Trump did not give any sense of when he might give the CD to Kim.
South Korea's urbanisation is one reason why more than a 1000 American service members are unaccounted for, said McKeague. The two held a historic summit in Singapore on June 12.
He added that Trump has won the "face" as the peacemaker, but will require China to deliver the "lining" on denuclearization as Beijing has a bigger say in awarding Pyongyang economic gains.
According to estimates from the Pentagon, 7,700 USA troops are still unaccounted for from the Korean War. Trump tweeted last September. "They have continued to slander South Korea relentlessly since that time".
Trump has claimed the US pays far too much of NATO's defense budget while other members fail to meet the agreed 2 percent of gross domestic product.
Trump told reporters Tuesday that he might have another gift for Kim as well.
