Spotlight Deals offer deep discounts on brand-name and popular items.

For Prime Day, Amazon is offering two types of deals: spotlight and lightning. For 36 hours, thousands of Prime Day deals will go live for subscribers from noon on Monday 16th July until midnight on Tuesday 17th.

If you're hoping to nab a bargain in this year's Amazon Prime Day reductions, it's worth knowing that you don't need to be a fully signed-up Prime member to take advantage.

If you're a Prime member you can now grab 4 months of Amazon Music Unlimited for just $0.99 per month, although the music streaming service is usually available for $9.99/month.

One of the headline benefits of Amazon Prime is its upgraded shipping options. This can be turned off or cancelled entirely by visiting the Manage Prime Membership page.

As such, buyers do not have to be Amazon Prime members to access the promo, and can simply click "Add to Cart" for the free device. Each month, Prime members can also download six editor's picks for free before the official publication date.

From 3rd to 17th of July, Prime members can subscribe to some of their favourite TV channels and get three months subscription at no extra cost.

Amazon always drops prices on tons of items, with big discounts in particular on its own hardware: Echos, Kindles, Fire sticks, and tablets.
