See Maisie Williams' bloody goodbye to 'Game of Thrones'

Maisie Williams Game of Thrones Arya Stark HBO soldiers the dragon and the wolf season 7

It's a known fact that HBO's hit TV series, Game of Thrones is loved by people all across the globe. Goodbye Arya. Goodbye 'Game of Thrones.' What a joy I've had.

Actresses Maisie Williams (L) and Sophie Turner attend the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

Game of Thrones' creators work hard to stop spoilers from getting out, but Maisie Williams may be working harder.

Clarke's post was far more pleasing on the eye than William's blood stained shoes, it showcased Belfast's lovely flowers rather than the show's famous gore. "She followed it up with several hashtags, quickly grabbing the attention of rabid "Thrones" fans online with her first one: "#lastwomanstanding". Many fans who saw it wondered if it meant that the remaining members of the Stark family would survive the eighth and final season.

Fans will have a while to wait to find out if there is any truth to the hashtag, with the show not due to return until 2019. She's also been nominated for an Emmy for her performance on the series.

While many of Maisie's followers were busy analysing the image, others took to the comment section to congratulate her on a job well done. Or is she simply the last actress to wrap her scenes?

One of the last remaining survivors of Season 1 - along with her sister, Sansa - Arya Stark is the daughter of the doomed Lord of Winterfell, Eddard Stark.
