Anthony Bourdain's Will Reveals Fortune Goes Mostly to Daughter

Anthony Bourdain

His assets include $425,000 in "cash and savings", $35,000 in a brokerage account, $250,000 and "personal property", and $500,000 in "intangible property including royalties and residuals", according to court papers.

Anthony Bourdain's will revealed new details about his finances after his death.

Since Ariane is a minor, the will listed Ottavia Busia-Bourdain, his estranged wife as the trustee.

Since his divorce with Busia was never formalized, she is legally still his next of kin.

Bourdain's will instructs Busia to dispose of his "accumulated frequent flier miles" and other possessions like cars, furnishings and jewelry in a way she believes he would've wanted.

Still, both TMZ and USA Today reported Friday that, according to Bourdain's will, he had created a trust for undisclosed assets that are not public record.

Ottavia Busia-Bourdain broke her silence following his death with a sentimental post to Instagram of their daughter, who had her first concert with her band, Newsday noted.

"I own an apartment with a mortgage that my ex-wife and my daughter live in, and I'm a renter".

Anthony's passing came as a huge shock to fans but Christian de Rocquigny de Fayel - the local prosecutor in charge of the investigation - recently confirmed that he didn't have any narcotics in his body at the time of his death.

Bourdain told The New Yorker in 2017 that his idea for Parts Unknown, which was then in its 11th season, was travelling, eating and doing whatever he wanted.
