Here's the OnePlus 6 in beautiful new Red Color

Live Images Of Red OnePlus 6 Variant Leak, Boosting Speculation

Hundreds of different colours were apparently tested before landing on a colour they call OnePlus 6 Red.

On Saturday we reported on a not-so-cryptic Tweet from OnePlus about the existence of a red version of their much vaunted OnePlus 6.

The OnePlus 6 Red is now available for registrations on Amazon India.

Joining Midnight Black, Mirror Black and the oft-replenished Silk White model, the newest flavor of "the speed you need" has a simple name, but a very complex manufacturing process behind it.

Not only this, images of the red coloured OnePlus6 have also been posted online by the leak site Slashleaks.

What's your opinion on this new color?

"The OnePlus 6 Red is created to match power with style, with attention to detail paramount". The new phone has an additional "evaporated layer of brightening film" to bring out that bright (but not too bright) red luster.

The new variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, and carries a price tag of CNY 3,599 ($542). It also represents an inner confidence and courage.

"We believe power and attitude can be both elegant and humble, and we have strived to achieve this with the OnePlus 6 Red Edition, " said Pete Lau, CEO and Founder, OnePlus.

Deciding on this color was not without its challenges. We worked to avoid an overly bright red color while still capturing a sense of self-confidence and positivity.

That's some Samsung-grade bullshit right there, and we do know that Samsung can concoct deep design stories for its flagship phones and color choices.

Leaving a "strong impression of quality and value", the glossy phone was produced using a new film coating process that's "never been attempted before in the smartphone industry". We'll try to get our hands on one in the coming weeks so you can have a better look.
