Sarah Sanders, Raj Shah are planning to leave the White House, sources claim

Report: Sarah Sanders and Raj Shah planning to leave White House

CBS reported she planned to leave by year's end and that Shah had not decided on a departure date.

Sanders has reportedly told friends that she plans to leave the administration by the end of the year.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has denied a CBS News report that she is leaving her post in the Trump administration.

Sanders took over briefing duties full-time from Sean Spicer after he resigned. As for Shah, he's considering leaving, but he hasn't set a firm timeline on his possible exit.

According to the network, neither Sanders nor Shah responded to repeated requests for comment before the story was published. She said she loved her job and was honored to work for the president.

If true, it would be the latest series of shakeups in the White House press department since Hope Hicks resigned as the White House communications director in February.

Other potential topics include; Trump's contentious meetings with the G7, the lawsuit against the president's charity foundation, and the report that Michael Cohen might turn against his boss soon.

These positions may never be filled, based on the administration's history. The report cited anonymous "sources inside the White House and close to the administration". Staffers who have left or been forced out of their jobs have described a dysfunctional and toxic working environment.
