The 14-year-old "Stranger Things" star's Twitter account vanished on Wednesday after the memes - which originally started popping up late last year - resurfaced during Pride Month in June.

Millie Bobby Brown has quit Twitter after she was the subject of some untrue memes.

Millie Bobby Brown deactivated her Twitter account Tuesday after Photoshopped images of her went viral for all the wrong reasons.

In reality, Brown is an active supporter of LGBTQ+ rights, and an anti-bullying advocate.

"You could genuinely cause so much damage to her reputation and it's weird as f**k".

In 2017, Brown received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her work as the telekinetic teenager on Stranger Things.

Millie herself frequently posted on social media, updating on her whereabouts and posting sweet messages with boyfriend YouTuber Jacob Sartorius. The Wrap notes that a #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown hashtag also started making the rounds late past year and came back in full force at the beginning of June, which is Pride Month. There's some controversy over whether or not the memes are an in-joke created by members of the LGBTQ community that simply went beyond that original intent, or if it's people who are trying to hurt the actress and the community.
