E3 2018: Léa Seydoux, Lindsay Wagner Join Death Stranding's Cast

Death Stranding Gameplay Showcased With 4K Trailer; New Characters Revealed
Death Stranding will be an open-world title with multiplayer elements, and the game features Mads Mikkelsen as well as Reedus, along with Kojima's friend Guillermo del Toro providing his likeness for one of the game's characters.
Shortly after Sony's E3 briefing, DeathStranding director and legendary game designer Hideo Kojima took to the Playstation blog to talk about the inspiration for the freakish game that nobody understands yet (if ever), his admiration for the cast, and share some shiny new screenshots from the new trailer. "Death Stranding" has been teased to within an inch of its life since 2015. Sure, we can have some guesses: the beach is similar to one Norman Reedus has been to in a previous trailer, plus her glassy-eyed look indicates something might be hiding beneath her facade, as is the case with half of this game, frankly. Two more members of its all-star cast were also added: Mission Impossible and Grand Budapest Hotel actress Léa Seydoux (who eats a bug, natch) and Grey's Anatomy alumna Lindsay Wagner.
As usual, Kojima-san was very tight-lipped about the details of what we saw during the "Death Stranding" presentation. After the E3 2018 trailer, there are likely even more questions. Seydoux appeared as a seasoned survivalist in an oddly spiky bodysuit, advising Sam on how to evade the creepy invisible monsters.
During the eight minute demo, we got to see lots of similar environments that require different approaches in terms of traversal; there's water to wade through and steep rocky inclines to climb. First, the trailer gives viewers more of an idea as to who Sam (played by Norman Reedus) really is.
Prior to this year's E3, we were already privy to some of the characters and design of the game.
E3 2018 has seen the unveiling and additional information released about a number of notable upcoming games. We still don't have any sort of release date either, so we are probably looking at late 2019 for this game at the earliest.
Tori is a writer and gamer originally from Vault 111, but now she resides in Chicago.
Sadly, there's no release date yet for Death Stranding, but expect plenty of more freaky footage over the coming months!
Daemon X Machina brings mech-based combat to Switch
The trailer shows us controlling a Gundam-like mech and fighting some pretty sizeable mech bosses in a post-apocalyptic world. Tsukuda and his team have approached this brand new game with the goal of making it "the best mech action game" out there.
Google Home now supports handling three commands at once
At the Google I/O 2018 , the company had announced the multiple actions feature , but it has just started to roll out now. If you wanted Google to tell you the weather in Boston, London, and Sydney, you'd have to issue three separate commands.
Nintendo Direct E3 2018 - Fire Emblem Three Houses
During today's Nintendo Direct event, a brand new entry in the Fire Emblem series was revealed called Fire Emblem : Three Houses . It will be interesting to see if Fire Emblem: Three Houses borrows from Fire Emblem: Heroes for mobile devices in any fashion.
