SAMSUNG • GETTYThe Galaxy S9 is getting a makeover in the UK
The two devices have been rumored for some time now and Samsung has finally announced them in China. Well, according to several renders, the Galaxy Note 9 will look almost the same as the Note 8, albeit with a fingerprint sensor now placed below the dual-camera setup.
Samsung is also rumoured to be improving its facial recognition tech with a larger camera sensor on the front of the Galaxy Note 9. Even though the company has not specified the prices or exact availability plans about the two devices, it did say that both of them will roll out in the United States through select retail and carrier partners starting this month and throughout the summer. In terms of memory, the device has been launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
If you ever wanted to take a glance at the Galaxy Note 9 and decide if you are going to upgrade to the upcoming premier flagship, here is your best chance to make it all happen. On the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens. Samsung will also continue to include a 3.5mm headphone jack, which will be located at the base of the phone alongside the USB-C port for charging.
Recent rumours suggest the upgraded camera will be the star of the show, just like the Samsung Galaxy S9, likely with the same dual aperture camera. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1080 pixels.
The U.S. version of the Galaxy Note 9 will obviously have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC since the chipset manufacturer does not something with a bit more kick in the pipeline.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) offers an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the back with an f/1.9 aperture lens and an LED flash.
