Nev Schulman Under Investigation for Sexual Misconduct, 'Catfish' Production Suspended

Following the allegations, MTV has temporarily suspended production of "Catfish". "We're working with Critical Content, our third-party production company, to conduct a thorough investigation, and we've put a pause on shooting until the investigation is completed". Some tales end in serious misery, while some get just what they expected. In the show, Schulman investigates online relationships where one person is often not who they appear to be.

Nev is now married with a two-year-old daughter.

"I have always been transparent about my life and would always take responsibility for my actions - but these claims are false", he then added.

According to The Daily Beast, the allegations were shared in two YouTube videos posted this week by a woman who appeared on "Catfish" three years ago. Schulman states that he also has several former colleagues "who are willing to speak up with the truth". According to USA Today, Ayissha Morgan accused Shulman of inappropriate sexual comments. The show's most recent season debuted in January.

Nev has also not made any public statement about the allegations at this time.

Back In 2006, he was kicked out of Sarah Lawrence College for punching a woman in the face at the school's annual Sleaze Ball dance. In this particular passage, he claims he "hadn't been aware of" behaving in such a manner toward the apparent victim because the woman was "short, stocky [and] crew-cut-styled".

No further information pertaining to the allegations has been revealed by MTV at this time.

In addition to Schulman's denial, The Blast reports that a longtime staff member of Catfish told them that he has "the full support of the staff", and that they believe Morgan's story to be "inconsistent".
