Consequently, when a report surfaced that supposedly revealed Glover's Lando as the focus of the next spinoff movie, it had a ring of truth, especially since it supposedly came from Lucasfilm's top tier. "I think it's time, certainly, for that, and I love the fluidity - sort of the spectrum of sexuality that Donald appeals to and that droids are a part of".

While we patiently await the premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story next week, today we get a fresh batch of Star Wars news. Disney seems to be leaving the future of the galaxy to the "Skywalker Saga" films and is content to use these standalone installments as celebrations of the known.

Unfortunately, Premiere France got Kennedy's words a little mixed up in translation in their original story and quoted her as saying: "Of course, there are still many stories to tell about Han and Chewbacca". "It would be fun to tell the story of Han and Chewie".

"We think that the next spin-off will be dedicated to Lando Calrissian", she said. Yeah, ok. I'm sure that makes sense to Kennedy and company.

As for Lando Calrissian, the point of his character being pansexual is displaying that he's a real wild card and does whatever the hell he pleases. You'd join any scheme Lando asked of you, and apparently, I'm not alone on that daydream.

We're just happy that we probably haven't seen the last of Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian. But a movie focusing on Lando Calrrissian out on his own would be sublime.

The star has had an incredible year.

Star Wars recently included their first openly gay couple in Chuck Wendig's Star Wars trilogy Aftermath. It'll also be interesting to see how Lucasfilm changes up Daniels' look so fans will be able to differentiate between this older character and the new one, Tak.
