IPL 2018- SRH vs RCB RCB vs SRH

Their chances of making the playoffs still hanging by a thread, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad in another must-win Indian Premier League encounter, here tomorrow.

Virat Kohli (c), Parthiv Patel (wk), Moeen Ali, AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, Colin de Grandhomme, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal. RCB's over-reliance on their big names has cost them in yet another season, putting pressure on the team at the end stages of the tournament to win every single game.

SRH opted to bowl first.

Asked to bat, the host team Royal Challengers Bangalore made 218 runs for six before surviving a scare from Sunrisers skipper Kane Williamson (81 off 42) and Manish Pandey (62 off 38).

De Villiers (358 runs) is next to him, although he has played two games less than the Indian captain.

Sunrisers defended a 147-run target against the Royal Challengers in the reverse fixture.

On one hand, SunRisers Hyderabad is already through to the Play-offs, on the other hand, it is a must win match for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

While, SunRisers Hyderabad lost their last game against MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings and faced an eight wicket defeat. RCB would have home support, playing their last home match at Bengaluru. And a win against SRH would move them to fifth on the points table.

Sandeep has managed to dismiss Kohli as many as five times in the cash-rich league previously, and off the 33 balls that the RCB skipper has faced off Sandeep, Kohli has scored 56 runs at a strike rate of 169.

De Villiers turned on the show, taking risks but as the old saying goes, fortune favoured the fearless.

But it was not to be as Williamson's dismissal in the first delivery of the final over sealed Hyderabad fate and they eventually fell short by 14 runs. Its bowlers have been largely unstoppable, even if they conceded totals of 187 and 180 in the last two games.

Apart from Dhawan and Williamson, Yusuf Pathan (186), Manish Pandey (189) and Shakib Al Hasan (166) have also chipped in at crunch situations for SRH. In RCB vs SRH clash, both captains are doing well and leading from the front.

Chris Woakes, named in England's Test squad earlier this week, has not featured for nigh on a month now while Moeen Ali, overlooked for the series against Pakistan, has recently come back onto RCB's radar - all be it with modest returns of two runs and one wicket from his couple of appearances.

Can Royal Challengers Bangalore win all their remaining matches to reach the play-offs?

RCB vs SRH Today IPL match is sure going to one of the most exciting matches of IPL 2018.
