OnePlus Announces Exciting OnePlus 6 Launch Offers Starting 21st May 2018

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau shares OnePlus 6 camera samples ahead of launch

"In a yet another community first initiative, we are excited to introduce our first ever "Fast AF" Sale that offers unparalleled benefits and an assured opportunity to be among the first few to own the latest OnePlus 6 globally".

The OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, the same chip that is also inside other high-end phones this year like the Galaxy S9.

The OnePlus 6 global launch will be held in London at 5pm BST (9:30pm IST) and will be live streamed so you can catch the action in real-time.

The device may come with a 12MP + 20MP vertically-positioned dual camera setup on the back.

In India, the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition are scheduled to launch on 17 May.

The OnePlus 6 is expected to house a 6.28-inch bezel-less display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, which is taller than regular flagships.

Well, it's 2018, so here are couple of things I believe OnePlus can still add, wireless charging (we're expecting it on the 6 because there's a glass body), possibly a bigger camera for selfies, more RAM (12 GB???) and possibly even an under-display fingerprint reader (borrowed from its sibling Vivo). From the leaks it is clear that the OnePlus 6 is going to look very different from the OnePlus 5T. Further, the OnePlus is said to be backed by a 3300mAh Dash Charge-compatible battery. The OnePlus 6 will be accompanied with a slew of accessories including protective cases, bumper cases, silicone protective cases, flip covers, and tempered glass protectors. The camera is expected to come with a super slow motion video function after the company teased it on its website. It has also partnered with Amazon in India to sell the flagship on the same date. Fans will be able to experience and purchase the OnePlus 6 at these pop-up stores over two days, on a first-come-first-serve basis. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM ET.

If you are an Idea subscriber then you will receive a Rs 2,000 cash back and device insurance. It will include 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of internal storage.

The 64GB model will cost Rs 36999, while the 128GB storage variant will cost Rs 39999.

For those unaware, OnePlus has already revealed that the yet-to-be-launched OnePlus 6 will be exclusively available in India via Amazon. Though it is still unclear if the phone will be priced same as the original (Rs 42,999).
