Nokia X6 launched in China: Price, specifications and more

Nokia X6 announced Price specifications features and more

HMD Global led Nokia has officially announced the company's latest mi-range device in its new Nokia X series, dubbed as the Nokia X6. Nokia X6 is also the first smartphone from the company to sport a notch on the front display. We already have smartphones like the Redmi Note 5 pro, Zenfone Max Pro and now the Realme 1 vying for the top budget smartphone spot. X-series is supposed to be better than the normal, mainstream device lineup and similar to that the X6 packs a better processor, improved design and dual camera setup on the back when compared to the regular Nokia 6 lineup.

HMD Global will have to get the pricing right in India, though. It has been priced at CNY 1299 for the 4GB + 32GB variant, CNY 1499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and the 6GB + 64GB variant has been priced at CNY 1699. Nokia X6 sports a large 5.8-inch display with FHD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. With 95% of its body covered by glass, the phone can be obtained with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage combination or the more souped-up 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

There's also a microSD card slot, which enables users to further expand the phone's storage capacity up to 256GB. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back which has a glossy finish thanks to an all-glass design. Inside, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. There is no information if the smartphone will be coming to India or not. Other features include a 3060mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 where the company claims that users can charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.

The Nokia X is equipped with two 16-megapixel sensors in its vertical dual rear camera setup, while front camera specifications are yet to be disclosed.

Moving to the software department, HMD Global has added AR stickers to the front camera along with face unlock feature.

The Nokia X6 comes in Blue, Black and Silver colors.
