'Bohemian Rhapsody' - Trailer for new Queen biopic drama film released

Rami Malek Bohemian Rhapsody

The official trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody, a biopic of legendary rock band Queen, has just been released by 20 Century Fox.

Malek bares a striking resemblance to Mercury and seems to have studied his moves to a tee too. The camera then cuts to Mercury in his magnificent array of fashions, from his glittery jumpsuit, renowned white singlet and black moustache, leather cut balck top and balck tight pants to his topless body and red tight leather pants.before the beats of Another One Bites The Dust cut in.

Bohemian Rhapsody is scheduled for release in the USA on 2 November, however an Australian date is yet to be announced.

The new trailer was worming and crafted with a lot of heavy metal and rock music showing the extraordinary spirit that characterized Queen.

It's been a long feat to make even the trailer.

Mercury passed away in 1991 at the age of 45 due to complications from AIDS; while bassist John Deacon retired from the music industry in 1997, May and Taylor have continued the Queen legacy with live performances, including tours in recent years with American vocalist Adam Lambert.

He wanted to show the nitty gritty of Mercury, including his party life, sexuality and wild ways. Bohemian Rhapsody is directed by Eddie the Eagle's Dexter Fletcher, who took over from Bryan Singer (X-Men) who was sacked mid-production. In the last 10 years, a number of actors have been in talks with the studio to play Freddie Mercury, the most notable name among them was actor Sacha Baron Cohen.

Bohemian Rhapsody in cinemas from November 1.
