Moto C2 and C2 Plus appear in first ever renders

We saw an alleged render of the Moto Z3 Play at the end of last month, but we now have a new leak which seems to give us a closer, clearer look at the smartphone.

The image shows the fingerprint scanner mounted on the side and once again the dual camera configuration is shown. The slightly thicker bottom chin now houses the Motorola branding.

Motorola rolled out its budget-oriented Moto G6 series last month, after which all the focus seems to have shifted to the Moto Z3. Back all very archaic: it is unusual a module feature dual cameras, as cheap Chinese devices, plus there are connectors for connection of additional accessories Moto Mods that are in demand, only the fans of the brand and the geeks, as they are Oh how much. There is a dual camera setup, and yes, there is a big camera bump. The 3.5mm headset connector should not mark presence and we can expect it to come with Android Oreo pre-installed. First, it is expected that the phone has a screen size of 6 inches and join the borderless smartphone flock. This may lead to speculations that the smartphone may not include a fingerprint sensor at all. While the volume rocker is placed on the right edge, the power button with textured finish is on the right edge.

If it's any consolation, it does look like Moto Mods will stay. Previous iterations of the Moto Z have done pretty well, offering not only flagship hardware, but also a new ecosystem of modular add-ons that can help make your phone both more functional and more unique.

As for internals, there are no new leaks yet, but going by what we know, the Z3 Play is expected to feature 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. Lenovo announced the Moto Z2 Play early in July, with the Moto Z2 Force coming just a few weeks later. It could be fuelled by a 3000mAh battery. Interestingly, the image suggests that Motorola has removed the headphone jack from the Moto Z3 Play.
