Vivo is gearing up to launch Vivo X21 UD smartphone on May 29. The invite reads "See you on - 29th May 2018", clearly indicating that we'll soon see the latest device in India by the end of this month. The Vivo X21 UD, although it comes with what you can mid-tier hardware, belongs to the first wave of smartphones to feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The media invite sent by Vivo has a big X hinting that the company will launch an X series smartphone in the country. In addition to 4G LTE, the Vivo X21 UD provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS including sensors such as fingerprint, gravity, proximity and ambient light. The Vivo X21i is similar to the Vivo X21, but there are some differences as well. Back in India, the smart phone will contend with the likes of Honor 10 and OnePlus 6 which is going to be starting in India at the days to come also. Well, as the Vivo X21i has now received certification from TENAA, we can expect Vivo to launch it any time now in China. In terms of specs, the Vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio with 1080x2280p resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The smartphone packs 128GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with Funtouch 4.0. On the front side, it is expected to feature a 12-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

Connectivity choices on Sensors on the telephone include routine Fingerprint detector/ beneath screen fingerprint detector, gravity detector, There's a 3200mAh battery, with rapid charging service, under the hood. It sports a vertically aligned dual camera setup at the rear which has 12-megapixel+5-megapixel sensors with dual Pixel PDAF and LED flash.

For connectivity, this phone offers options of 4G VoLTE, Dual Band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 with OTG support, and Global Positioning System.
