City would have won the title with a record six games to go had they beaten United in last weekend's Manchester City derby at the Etihad Stadium, but they surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2.

Pep Guardiola talks all things Spurs-Man City, Raheem Sterling's performance and what he'll be doing instead of watching Man United-West Brom.

Manchester United will be looking to delay Manchester City's title celebrations when they welcome Premier Lague strugglers West Brom to Old Trafford. Whatever happened with United, City have five games to secure the points needed for the title.

It was Jay Rodriguez, whose goal from a Baggies corner, gave caretaker manager Darren Moore his first win as West Brom boss and hand the title to City in a far less dramatic way than their infamous Aguerooooooo goal.

Rodriguez was charged by the Football Association in February following allegations that he used abusive or insulting language towards Brighton & Hove Albion's Cameroon defender Gaetan Bong in a Premier League match the previous month.

"Manchester City, we won it for you" chanted the West Brom fans at the end of a match greeted by jeers by the home faithful.

"I am surprised. The quality and experience of some of the players, the stability the squad, I am surprised they find themselves in this position", said Mourinho. The match starts at 01:00 on 16 April 2018.

Romelu Lukaku insists that West Bromwich Albion's current plight is "painful" for him but the Manchester United man hopes that his former club can bounce back.

Lukaku cut back for Herrera and Dawson caught the midfielder, yet referee Paul Tierney did not award the spot-kick.

Rondon had a header saved and Juan Mata flashed wide, before Mourinho turned to Anthony Martial in place of Pogba as heavy rain fell.

But few would have predicted it coming against De Gea.

United had to at least draw to keep the title race mathematically alive but were stunned at Old Trafford when Jay Rodriguez headed home after the break. Chris Smalling had an attempt as the clock wound down and the full-time whistle saw City crowned champions.
