Three Accusers In Cosby Trial Paint Similar Picture Of Alleged Assault

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they grant permission, which Constand, Baker-Kinney, Lasha and Thomas have done. Former actress and Cosby accuser Heidi Thomas declared to the courtroom Tuesday, "I want to see a serial rapist convicted", according to The Washington Post.

Janice Baker-Kinney will return to the witness stand on Thursday after punctuating her first two hours of testimony at Cosby's sexual assault retrial in suburban Philadelphia with a firm declaration: "I was raped".

Thomas, 58, a music teacher from Colorado, spent almost three hours on the witness stand over two days this week, testifying about a 1984 trip to Reno, Nev., where she says Cosby drugged and assaulted her during an acting lesson.

"It still takes me everything within my being to say the words, 'I was raped, '" she testified.

Thomas is one of five additional accusers who say the comedian drugged and attacked them long before he met Constand, a former Temple University women's basketball administrator who alleges Cosby gave her pills and then violated her in 2004. "You said you were going to help me". In a new interview, she breaks down her line of thinking, saying she very purposefully wanted to make Cosby "uncomfortable".

"I don't lie, sir", Dickinson said.

Thomas, the first accuser to take the stand, was a 24-year-old aspiring actress when her agent arranged for Cosby to give her acting tips at a session in Reno.

She told jurors Thursday she was "rendered motionless" by the pill as Cosby got on top of her in his Lake Tahoe, California, hotel room.

She said she remembered feeling sick and wondering, "How did I get here?"

Under cross-examination, Cosby's attorney, Tom Mesereau, confronted Dickinson about her 2002 ghostwritten memoir, "No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel".

Thomas said she made a decision to publicly air her allegations against him in January 2015, as other women were sharing their own accusations. The judge denied the motion, but warned Lasha against similar comments, and told the jury to ignore what she'd said.

Constand said she awoke between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m.to find her bra up around her neck and her trousers half unzipped.

The now 80-year-old entertainer has said he gave Constand the cold medicine Benadryl and that she consented to a sexual encounter. She testified she woke up naked in bed with the comedian, believing they'd had sex. I couldn't move anymore after that.

Constand testified she made a decision to report the assault to police in January 2005, about a year later, jarred to action by a nightmare and an increasing awareness of consent issues from her ongoing massage therapy training.

Mesereau's attack on Constand was a striking departure from the more subdued tone that Cosby's previous lawyer took at the first trial, which ended in a hung jury last spring.

Comedian Bill Cosby has arrived for the third day of his sexual assault retrial.

She said she and her mom spoke to Cosby over the phone and that he allegedly confessed and apologized.

Troiani was peeved at the defense for fighting to disclose the settlement figure to jurors in what she said was a clear violation of the confidential settlement agreement Cosby and Constand struck.

Back in June, a jury spent four days deliberating and couldn't come to an agreement about Cosby's guilt regarding the alleged assault of Constand.

Mr Cosby has been charged with aggravated indecent assault of Ms Constand, which could carry a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

But in a 2005 deposition that Mesereau showed her, Constand said she had told her mother that she was affectionate toward him. She says Cosby assaulted her in Nevada 34 years ago.

Asked what was going through her mind, Lasha testified: "Dr. Huxtable wouldn't do this". "He was a married man, and I absolutely showed no interest in him". But when Cosby's lawyers brought up a $100 million fund lawyer Gloria Allred has said Cosby's victims should receive, the women said they were either completely unaware or knew little about it.
