Robert Kraft meets Meek Mill

Sources at the prison tell us Kenney was spotted leaving the facility Wednesday morning with 76ers owner Michael Rubin, who's visited several times before... including Tuesday when he brought Patriots owner Robert Kraft to visit the incarcerated rapper.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski's future as a player has been a frequent topic of conversation this offseason and some around the team may be anxious about the prospect of his retirement. "Amazing young man. I know how I'd feel if I was in the situation he is". I saw him [recently at Gillette Stadium]. "He's very intelligent. And makes it clear to me we have to do something with criminal justice reform".

This week, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft talked about meeting Meek during his stint behind bars.

Meek Mill has been involved in a lengthy court battle after being imprisoned for violation of probation late previous year.

There's been some outcry against Mill's punishment, with critics claiming the length of his sentence is too severe for probation violations.

As previously reported, Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley, who sentenced Meek in November, denied his request for bail both in December and in early April.

"It's really bad. I know some of our players in the National Football League have talked about this". I see it firsthand.

"We have to find a way to correct it and also help the community help themselves".

Kraft also said recently that he doesn't have any issues with Tom Brady's contract, but the zen approach to team matters comes alongside a more practical bent befitting a successful business owner. "Shouldn't be here. And then think of all the taxpayers here paying for people like this to be in jail and not out being productive".
