As per Counterpoint data, close to five million laptops are sold every year in India with majority connecting to either enterprise or home or public WiFi spots. As per counterpoint data, total laptops sold every year in India is close to 5 million and majority connect to either enterprise, home or public wi-fi hotspots.

The firm further mentioned that even with a million laptops, the 4G networks could charge Rs 300-Rs 1,000 a month, which means operators could generate a whooping Rs 30 crore to Rs 360 crore a month. The company says there is value in this new segment especially for retailers and telecom operators.
