Apple Had 12 Employees Arrested for Leaks - Reveals a "Leaked" Internal Memo…

Screen replacement may trigger sensor failure on iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X

IPhone users complained of broken screens

The irony in all of this, though, is that the worst leak in Apple's history wasn't on objective, but rather the result of an employee accidentally leaving a prototype iPhone 4 at a bar.

According to Norwegian news sites, Apple had five lawyers working on the case against Huseby. "We want the chance to tell our customers why the product is great, and not have that done poorly by someone else", Joswiak wrote in the memo.

The £10-a-month subscription service has 40 million users, with another seven million now using Apple's free trial. We had nearly all the specs on the iPhone X before it launched, and new software features or products are routinely spilled to the press before Apple can officially launch them.

Not surprisingly, Gurman was also first to report on the leak of the memo, which is reprinted in full below. It adds that in these situations, Apple staffers have "everything to lose" if they give in.

Last year, Apple sued and accused an unauthorized iPhone fix shop in Norway.

In Q4 2017, or call it Apple's fiscal Q1 2018, the high price of iPhone helped to see a record increase in the ASP (Average Selling Price), which clocked $796, up $100 YoY. Now, Apple Store employees have admitted that the Cupertino-based company is hiring external contractors to assist the Apple Store employees.

If you thought the iPhone X was pricey, this year's iPhone could take it up a notch.

Over the last few years, Apple has successfully persuaded its customers to increase what they pay for phones from an average of somewhere around $600 to almost $800.BI IntelligenceAt the same time, Apple's three-pronged strategy is to persuade repeat customers to pay more for newer products while offering cheaper devices for first-time customers. In some cases, they face jail time and massive fines for network intrusion and theft of trade secrets both classified as federal crimes. Those 29 people included employees, contractors, and supply chain partners. Last year, another employee was sacked for leaking details about the iPhone X, iPad Pro, and AirPods to 9to5Mac.
