Getting a broken phone fixed can be stressful.

Samsung Electronics announced an agreement with the United States chain uBreakiFix to provide same-day repairs service for customers of its flagship smartphones. Furthermore, another 200 locations will be added by this time next year. Still, with most of the phones on Samsung's list of supported devices being water-resistant, hopefully that won't be such a problem. What's more, it says that most repairs can be completed in two hours or less, and are fixed on-site. Samsung is aiming to make it easier and quicker to get a fix, inking a deal with uBreakiFix for same-day authorized service in hundreds of locations across the US.

Reaching the "majority of the continental U.S. population", these 371 certified Samsung Care locations are spread across "all major USA metro areas", welcoming walk-ins, as well as appointments for blazing fast repairs.

These Samsung Care authorized service locations are already in every major USA metro area, but by early 2019, the company plans to add 200 more uBreakiFix locations in order to reach even more customers than they already do.

It's worth mentioning that Samsung customers can schedule an appointment at one of the authorized uBreakiFix service locations, or they can simply drop off their device without an appointment. Notably, users of other Android devices are considering making the move to a Samsung, including 19 per cent of current LG users, 11 per cent of Moto users and 10 per cent HTC users.

This won't help if you're using a budget Samsung phone, and it still means going to a third-party shop. Will you make use of this new partnership between Samsung and uBreakiFix?
