LeBron James On Playing Against His Son In The NBA: “You Got To”

LeBron James

The Cavs have undoubtedly missed that production, going just 10-9 in the 19 games he has missed so far. Fans are now hoping that with LeBron James leading the charge, the new look Cavaliers may be able to pull off a miracle and come together for a long postseason run straight to the 2018 NBA Finals in June.

In years past, the Cavaliers have dropped out of the East's top spot just to finish No. 2.

Cleveland is in fourth place in the tightly contested middle of the Eastern Conference playoff pack as the teams scramble for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

To LeBron James, the seeding won't matter wherever the Cavs land in the standing.

"You just say I'm like fine wine", James said with a smile.

The Cavaliers are one-half game behind third-place IN, one-half game ahead of fifth-place Washington and another game head of sixth-place Philadelphia.

It's part of the LeBron James show.

The resounding answer is a no. Though the trade deadline has always been over, a new rumor surrounding the deal that involved Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas surfaced, revealing an interesting plot. The Cavs made their four pre-trade deadline deals in order to become younger, quicker, and better defensively. The Cavaliers are 5-6 since the All-Star break, with an offense and defense that have both been middle of the pack in the league.

Odd things happen when the Cavaliers go to Portland, and for this team, that's saying something. That should be concerning.

Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue admitted what the numbers shouted Sunday: the Lakers in general - and power forward Julius Randle in particular- strong-armed their way through the Cavaliers in a 127-113 victory.

While I'll reiterate it again, the seed the Cavaliers end with will not matter.

According to a calculation from Reddit user Gifgifer, James has scored more points in the clutch than any other player this season.

The Cavs, who made 17 of 35 3-pointers, led by as many as 27 in the second half, with James delivering the biggest highlight on a breakaway, one-handed windmill dunk after a Phoenix turnover in the third quarter.
