Hearing date set for Stormy Daniels lawsuit against Trump

Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti filed a new legal motion Friday seeking to have the judge assigned to the case removed because of a potential conflict of interest. The judge Elizabeth Feffer of Los Angeles Superior Court is under consideration for

She also wants to address the "intimidation and tactics that he, together with his attorney Michael Cohen, have used to silence me".

Daniels went on the defensive Wednesday afternoon after a Twitter user accused of her of soliciting public donations even though she supposedly has "deep pocket shadow figures who are willing to pay for her defense".

I need funds to pay for: attorneys' fees; out-of-pocket costs associated with the lawsuit, arbitration, and my right to speak openly; security expenses; and damages that may be awarded against me if I speak out and ultimately lose to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen. BuzzFeed had reported that Trump's lawyers were considering seeking an injunction to stop it.

'She writes down Donald Trump, ' Clem said Friday, recounting the incident.

Her attorney Michael Avanetti tweeted the link, verifying its legitimacy.

Daniels has been interviewed by CBS' "60 minutes", which has not set a date for the segment to run.

Mr Cohen has admitted to paying Ms Daniels the $130,000, but maintains that Mr Trump had no idea that he transaction occurred.

During an interview with MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace, Avenatti insisted that people will believe Daniels' story about the alleged affair when they see her tell it on video.

According to a contract signed by Clifford and Cohen in late October 2016 - which Clifford is now challenging in California state court - she faces "liquidated damages" of $1 million for each breach of confidentiality involving a man identified in the agreement as David Dennison, which Clifford's suit alleges is a pseudonym for Trump.

Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, has not immediately returned messages for comment.

But the Trump campaign has refused to acknowledge the alleged affair or any proceedings against the actress.

The president has said he will meet with the North Korean dictator - effectively depriving porn star Stormy Daniels of her coveted publicity.

She added: "I am more fortunate than many, many people in this country".

More: Did the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels break the law? Anthony Kotzev, the boyfriend of Stormy's manager, Gina Rodriguez, told the site that he was actually sitting next to Stormy when she physically signed her second statement denying that she was paid any "hush money", and he said the environment was extremely "lighthearted".
